ELH Challenge #1: Working with Comparisons but with a twist!

In this blog, I will be creating interesting projects in Articulate Storyline 2. I will be sharing my experiences while creating these projects and also 'Behind the Scenes'!
I hope it will be much fun for you reading/watching Storyline stuff as much it was fun for me - creating them!

ELS Challenge #1: Working with Comparisons with a twist!

This is my take on comparing things. This is my take on comparing things - aircrafts in this case.

I have created an additional slide - you can drag and drop an aircraft in its designated area and click the button. This will display its wing span. When you click the little toggle image on that screen, you will see another screen displaying the length and height of that aircraft. There is a close button on the top-right corner of the screen that will close the current screen and take you back to the main screen.

In this project, I have used the following elements of Storyline:

  • Slide Layers
  • Buttons
  • Hotspots
  • Pictures
  • Text boxes
I created a custom background and used a custom color template: mustard,  amber, apple green, and a variation of military green. I added some drag and drop interaction (using the build-in feature - its great!) and then customized it. For the toggle interactivity, I used the trigger - show/hide layers that makes the picture behave like a button.

Hope you like it!
